Children
Children are a priority at Cornerstone from babies to pre-teens, we believe it is our duty to care, love and nurture these beautiful blessings in our family
Jesus Loves Me Nursery and Toddlers
Roxanne Ingle is the director of Jesus Loves Me Ministries. She manages the safety and coordination of our 4 year olds and under and their volunteers. At the beginning of each month she directs Wee Time, an opportunity for parents to gather with their children and learn and laugh through the Bible.
Youth
The transition from Child to adult is a major transition in everyone's life. Whether you are the parent or the adolescent, this is a time when guidance benefits all of us
Grade 6th to 12th grade we meet on Sunday nights for small groups from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm and on Wednesday nights from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Check the community page for details on trips and activities we are having.
Adult
A fundamental truth of human existance
is that we are a delicate balance of interconnectedness with others. Whatever stage you are at in your life, we hope to have a place for you.
Small Groups
During the summer our small groups function more as random gatherings of people on Sunday nights. Check the calendar for more information during this time.
On September 8th we will be launching our fall small groups. A list of groups will be posted in the community page
Never 2 Young Children's Ministries
Jason Tackett directs our children's minitries. He enthusiastically loves and motivates children in the fundamentals of Christian faith. Sunday mornings, Sunday nights, and wednesday nights give you ample opportunity for a safe environment where your children will learn and grow with Jesus.
Basketball & Cheerleading
Upward sports is designed to give children from grades K5 - 4 a unique opportunity to learn the game of basketball as well as cheeleading. The focus of Upward is the skills needed to play, putting less emphasis on competitiveness, and instilling sportsmanship and christlikness in each of the players and coaches involved. The basketball progam generally runs December through February, with early registration in the fall. For more information contact Ryan Etterling
JOY Senior Adults
Collide is the leadership & planning team for our the Uprising Youth Ministries. This group functions as a form of disciplship for the parents, sponsors, and teens being trained in the transformation of Christ. If you would like to get involved contact Ryan Etterling
JOY stands for Just Older Youth. It is our senior group and we meet the 4th Thursday of every month for dinner and dominos at 6:00 pm in the church dining room.
Young Adult (College Age)
College aged adults meet every Wednesday at 7:00 pm on campus. We discuss issues of life, meaning, faith and movies.
Divorce Care
Are struggling with divorce? Not sure how to rebuild your life? John & Theresa Chesmar work with anyone who is going through divorce and offer tangible help. You can reach them at (740)-778-3226.
Nursing Home Visitation
We at Cornerstone believe that all people, all ages, from all walks of life have something to offer. On Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm Debbie Bond takes a group and visits our friends and loved ones at the our local nursing home. Try it out, you won't be dissapointed.
